Plant in groupings ( at least 3 of a kind) to achieve an imposing effect. Mulch for the first year especially. Ground is not attractive and weed seeds find a welcome home there.
Dead head (remove) dried flowers to encourage later bloom.
Place plant identification tags nearby and (or) make up a map of the garden.
